Hi y'all!
I am guest posting today over at Tracie's at Stir Fry Awesomeness.
Yeah. That's right.
For today, I am awesome.
So, hop on over there to find me . . . and check out Tracie while you are at it.
She is one of the reasons why I have decided to invest in Depends. They come in so handy when you pee your pants from laughing, afterall.
Enjoy!

Lmao!! Girl that blog post was hilarious!!
ReplyDeletegoing to head on over....thanks! Happy SITS day!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I especially liked the visuals that kept popping up in my head. Oh, yeah right. I'm lovin' the mess left behind so much I want you now, on the counter with the dirty dishes and spices.
ReplyDeleteOh, just made my way over from SITS.
Over from Stir Fry. You are so right. He'd have to cook, clean and then maybe....
ReplyDeleteread that last night.. HILARIOUS!
ReplyDeleteStopping over from Tracie to say I LOVED YOUR POST! It was fansmashingtastic.
ReplyDeleteYou are so, so right. But really, cleaning doesn't turn me on either. My hubs cleans all the time and it gets me turned on maybe 7% of the time.
You are awesome! Great guest post over at the stir fry awesomeness capital of the world (-;
ReplyDeleteand perhaps if my husband cooked, cleaned, and worked out for me he might get lucky too ....might.
Love it! Wonderfully funny post. My husband is actually a really good cook (he trained as a chef for a few years before deciding that being a chef = having no life outside of work) but OMG the mess when he creates when he does get in the kitchen! I totally agree, surveying the devastation does not get me in the mood either. But the way you describe it all - classic! Had me laughing from beginning to end!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
ReplyDeleteIf he cleans up and throws in a foot massage, all systems are go!
Funny post!
You are so silly!
ReplyDeleteOkay, in defense of the study...when my husband and I were dating, I would joke that if he bought me dinner, I felt "obligated." He picks up the tab, I pick up...other things. Haha!
And now that we're married, thats one way we kind of keep things spicy - not necessarily by doing the dirty on the kitchen floor, but he knows that if he cooks or buys dinner and takes something off my plate, I am probably going to be more inclined to put something on his...plate.
Great topic!
HA! Yeah my husband loves to cook, he's good at it, and I can assure you that there hasn't been one time that I've been put in the mood by it. What the heck are these men feeding these women?
ReplyDeleteGreat guest post!!
off to check it out! woohoo, you have arrived annie---guest posting at Stir Fry! AWEOMENESS, indeed!
ReplyDeletewoe is me. I can't spell/type today.
ReplyDeleteclearly that was supposed to be
AWESOMENESS
I'm avoiding vacation responsibilities in order to thank you again for the awesome post!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Yeah, that article is total BS. My husband cooks and cleans and it doesn't turn me on.
ReplyDeleteMaybe his cooking sucks?
You always make me chuckle. I can't imagine Jim making a dinner that would be worth whoppie but I can say he's a pretty good cook when he doesn't want to go to family for big dinners and volunteers to cook so we can stay home. Now if he could buy the groceries, cook/bake them and clean up, well there just may be a reward in all of that. :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great read Annie. Take care and God Bless!!!
I'm stopping by from Tracie's! That was so funny, and oh so TRUE!!! I have a headache just thinking about all the cleaning my husband's cooking would cause.....sorry honey, not gonna happen tonight....or even this week!
ReplyDeletehahahaha on depends!
ReplyDeleteOh no...
GREAT POST over at Tracie's
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the guest posting!
