The Birds and Bees and Such

How about this for my dose of daily insanity this afternoon?

I had my first  (of many, I am sure) birds and bees talk with Ab.  She looked a bit like a deer in the headlights with the information, and I can tell that she is still pondering over some of it.

Just in case you were wondering . . . yes, I am still breathing.

And, no, she didn't ask any follow up questions.

During this whole conversation hubby was in the kitchen, and I could hear him snickering.  So, being the equal opportunity parent that I am, I pulled him into the conversation.  The red hue to his face told me that he really appreciated it.

Now, let's hope she doesn't readily share the information with Ethan any time soon.  I am not ready for those questions, but after today's family conversation, I am sure that hubby is!

(Pause.)

No, I really won't do that to him.

But, yes, I really want to.
